The Boston Circus Guild most recently held auditions in Somerville, MA on Saturday January 18th 2020 for professional circus artists who possess strong technical ability, artistry, and charisma. Upcoming audition opportunities will be posted here as well as on our social media.

The BCG works primarily with corporate clients who are interested in upbeat, high energy acts. Although a variety of act styles will be considered, acts that fit this profile are most likely to be successful.

Requirements & Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Based in New England
- High level of training in one or more circus performance disciplines
- Some professional performing experience
- Timely and professional communication
- Desire to engage with the Boston-area circus community
Required submission materials
- CV/resumé that includes the following information:
- Address, phone number, email and website (if applicable)
- Details about your training/schooling in circus
- Your primary and any secondary disciplines
- Your performance experience
- Full act footage for each act you wish to audition
- Maximum length 8 minutes per act
- Send the video file via any file-sharing service, or include a link to Youtube, Vimeo, etc.
- Minimal edits, one long take preferred, no sizzle reels
- No Instagram links accepted
- Demo reel that includes footage of any secondary disciplines, if applicable
- Maximum length 5 minutes
- Send the video file via any file-sharing service, or include a link to Youtube, Vimeo, etc.
- No Instagram links accepted
- High quality promotional photos (up to 4)
- Two letters of reference from clients, coaches, or other established performers
